The Rib Fracture Fixation: Surgical Approaches, Techniques & Program Implementation Course is being offered by Zimmer Biomet on Wednesday, December 4th at the Kansas City Marriott from 11:00am – 4:30pm. This course is designed for general acute and critical care trauma and thoracic surgeon specialists and their staff who are interested in learning more about the management of chest wall injuries and are attending the 42nd Annual Committee on Trauma Meeting. The course includes a lunch lecture reviewing history, publications, studies, surgical approaches and case reviews outlining the management of chest wall injuries. In addition to the lunch lecture there will be a cadaveric lab intended for general acute and critical trauma and thoracic surgeons, fellows and resident specialists whose scope of practice includes management of chest wall injuries and would like hands on training using a rib plating system. Registration for this course is separate from the Advances in Traum a registration.
